An OUT OF THE BOX . . . . Evangelist Church Plant
As you read on through the web site, you will discover that Santa Cruz Revival is a body of believers bound together by a revival covenant to reach the Santa Cruz downtowncommunity. Some churches have written this populace as unreachable, too far out, too bound to sin or too psychic. We accept this people group as our mandate from God and have established Street Ministries, Concerts in the Park, and Worship tapings in the Santa Cruz Community TV studio. Read on about our TV Series, Reality Church, Revive TV and Heaven on Earth. We are presently looking for the opportunity to have a marketplace store front listed as our House of Grace. Enjoy learning all about our vision as you advance through the tabs and buttons of this web site.
During the cold months, w
e tape our TV worship series at Community TV in downtown Santa Cruz on the 1st and 3rd Sundays (Winter schedule) and 1st Sundays (Summer schedule) from 3:00-6:00 pm. These tapings are aired on Reality Church, Sundays at 9:30 am, Revive TV, Mondays at 5:30 pm, and Heaven on Earth, Sundays at 9:00 am. We also meet in homes on the 2nd Sundays for Fellowship Potlucks and the 4th Sunday afternoons, we meet at Hear the Call recording studio in Aptos for dress biblical skit rehearsals and Bible studies.
During the good weather season (from May to October), we meet out on the street for Bible Studies and Communion. In 2007 and 2008, we conducted our outreach concert at the San Lorenzo Park, on Duck Island Stage. In 2009, we are conducting our outreach concerts at Capitola Beach. The Capitola Beach Church and the Church on the River feature Celebrate Recovery Band with Director Otis Coen as well as Raw Worship and other guests. Each concert also features testimonies, prophetic dance (directed by Denise Goss), and preaching.
